Hi, I'm Angela!
I'm a third-generation Bendite, proud Central Oregon local, and the owner and creative force behind Fuse Events of Bend.
With more than 20 years of experience in the events, hospitality, and entertainment industries, I've built my career around one simple passion: bringing people together and creating unforgettable experiences.
My journey into the event industry began with a certification through US Event Guide in 2003, followed by years of hands-on experience coordinating weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, concerts, community festivals, and special events.
Being born and raised in Central Oregon has given me something truly special: deep community roots, long-standing relationships, and an incredible network of talented professionals. I believe those connections, combined with my creativity, experience, and genuine love for people, are what make Fuse Events so unique.
A Little Experience, A Lot of Passion, and a Whole Lot of Personality!
You could say I'm a bit of a "Jill of All Trades" — and I wouldn't have it any other way!
My professional background is anything but ordinary, and that's exactly what I love about it.
After earning my degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, I began my career in the exciting world of radio and entertainment. I've had the opportunity to work with KUFO–Infinity Broadcasting in Portland, Combined Communications, and Bend Radio Group, gaining valuable experience in promotions, production, entertainment, and large-scale event execution.
I also spent five years DJing weddings and special events with Star Productions DJs, where I discovered just how much I love creating the perfect atmosphere, reading a crowd, and making celebrations come alive through music.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of working alongside some incredible event companies, resorts, and venues, including C3 Events, Lay It Out Events, Brasada Ranch, The Lodge at Suttle Lake, and Elk Lake Resort.
My experience also extends into luxury hospitality and guest services, including my role as a Life Enrichment Coordinator at a premier senior living community. There, I planned and coordinated engaging social experiences, celebrations, outings, and special events while focusing on personalized service and meaningful connections.
Each chapter of my career has helped shape the planner I am today: organized, resourceful, adaptable, creative, and always ready to find a solution.
Beyond the event industry, I've also had the rewarding opportunity to coach high school softball and Little League baseball. Coaching has always been another way for me to connect with my community, encourage others, and share my love of sports.
Whether I'm leading a team on the field or coordinating a team of vendors behind the scenes, I believe success comes from preparation, communication, teamwork, and knowing how to have a little fun along the way!
And let's be real — managing a baseball dugout and managing a wedding day have more in common than you might think!

From the first consultation to the final farewell, I'm your planner, problem-solver, creative collaborator, and behind-the-scenes support system.
I love the beautiful details, the unexpected challenges, the excitement of a perfectly executed timeline, and those magical moments when everything comes together.
But what I love most? Seeing my clients relaxed, smiling, laughing, dancing, and truly enjoying the celebration they've dreamed about.

Beyond the Events
When I'm not juggling timelines, coordinating vendors, designing beautiful spaces, or keeping the dance floor moving, you'll probably find me enjoying everything Central Oregon has to offer.
I'm a proud mom, an outdoor enthusiast, and someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people.
Some of my favorite things include golfing, playing softball, camping, traveling, boating, discovering new places, supporting local nonprofits, and spending quality time with family and friends.
My adventures have taken me from New York City and Connecticut to Lake Tahoe, Portland, and even Venezuela, where I spent a month immersing myself in the culture and learning conversational Spanish.
After living in several different places, I returned to my Central Oregon roots in 2002. There's truly no place like home!
I'm also passionate about supporting local businesses, building relationships within our event community, and giving back whenever possible.

I've always had a love for sports, especially softball and golf!

Whether I'm managing a softball lineup, perfecting my golf swing, or coordinating a wedding day, I'm all about teamwork, preparation, positive energy, and having fun along the way.

Sushi, Italian, and Mexican food are my absolute favorites!
I'm always up for discovering a great restaurant, enjoying a delicious meal, or getting together with family and friends over good food and conversation.

When I'm not solving last-minute event challenges, you'll probably find me watching crime dramas, true crime documentaries, or unsolved mysteries.
I love a good whodunit, investigating the clues, and trying to figure out what happened before the mystery is solved.
Maybe that's why I'm so good at problem-solving and thinking three steps ahead on event days!

There's nothing quite like a beautiful Central Oregon summer!
Give me sunshine, a lake, boating, camping, kayaking, paddleboarding, outdoor adventures, and quality time with family and friends, and I'm in my element.
Growing up in Bend has given me a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

After a busy weekend of planning, coordinating, entertaining, and making sure everyone else is having the time of their lives, my favorite way to recharge is with a long, relaxing bath.
A little quiet time, some self-care, and a chance to unwind are the perfect reset before the next celebration!

Back in high school during the 1990s, my sister and I attended our homecoming dance with two pretty recognizable guests in attendance — Mario Lopez and Jennifer Love Hewitt!

Not exactly your typical high school homecoming experience, and definitely a memory I'll never forget.

🏍️ Motocross Meets the Radio Waves!
During my early broadcasting career, while working at Power 94 radio station in the early 2000s, I had the opportunity to meet and hangout with Carey Hart, former professional freestyle motocross competitor and motorcycle racer.
Working in radio certainly had its perks, and meeting interesting personalities from the entertainment and action sports industries was one of them!
🎤 From Radio Studios to Wedding Dance Floors!
Between radio broadcasting, concert promotions, DJ entertainment, and event production, I've had the opportunity to meet some fascinating people and collect incredible memories.
Those experiences helped shape my love for music, entertainment, creativity, and bringing people together.
And who knew that those early adventures would eventually become part of the story behind Fuse Events of Bend?

I've always had an adventurous spirit and love experiencing new places, cultures, and people.
My travels and life experiences have taken me to New York City, Connecticut, Lake Tahoe, Portland, and even Venezuela, where I spent a month experiencing the culture and learning conversational Spanish!
No matter where my adventures take me, Central Oregon will always be home.

As much as I love beautiful décor, fabulous music, delicious food, and perfectly executed details, the people are always my favorite part.
I love the laughter, the happy tears, the spontaneous dance moves, the heartfelt toasts, and those unexpected little moments that become lifelong memories.
There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing people come together and genuinely enjoy themselves.
That's why I do what I do!
